lolo’s story
In 2006, at the height of an overwhelming come back of the Ballerina, the young Belgian economist
Magali Giunta, concluded that despite the variety of styles on offer, she could not find a style that satisfied
her requirements. After conducting an extensive research, without sacrificing fit and comfort for sake
of style, having a mother who is a shoe designer , Magali who was born and raised in the shoe world, created the perfect, most brilliant ballerina. The one
that is true to form and so addictive, branding it ‘Lolo the ballerina’. Magali chose Italy for the
production of her collection, using the finest leathers and materials. This is how the Capri ballet was
created: elegant, sensual, fun and full of charm. It has a cushioned inner sole and adjustable laces, maintaining the rigorous and relaxed elegance,
instilled by Magali’s style conscious and her glamorous mothers.
The combination of surprising materials is Magali’s playground for creating every collection.
Lolo has not forgotten the women who prefer heels or wedges, making it impossible to buy just one pair of
‘Lolo the ballerina’.
