Word of God DefinedLogos Rhema

Logos, or the word of God, is all 31,173 versesof the Bible and all the subjects containedtherein. It is everything God has left recorded inthe Bible for our spiritual instruction the wholecounsel of God. Logos is defined as the subjectmatter, teaching, topic, doctrine, and overviewof Gods plan for the human race.

Rhema is one verse of scripture, it is theconfessed word, the creative word, a singlepromise, utterance, phrase, command, orisolated affirmation. Logos is the Bible in itsentirety; Rhema is the Bible by specialapplication. Logos is the general word, Rhema,the specific word.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell inyou richly in all wisdom, teaching andadmonishing one another in psalms and hymnsand spiritual songs, singing with grace in yourhearts to the Lord.

John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My wordsabide in you, you will ask what you desire, andit shall be done for you.

2 Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray forus, that the word of the Lord may run swiftlyandbe glorified, just as it is with you,

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing,and hearing by the word of God.

False Teaching about Logos Practical ways to make it Rhema

1. Logos isnt powerful 1. Meditate on and speak it out loud until itcomes alive in you and a part of your life.

Pastor Dons response: Show me chapterand verse. Traditions of men make theword of God of none effect.(Matthew 15:6)

2. Keep a logos to Rhema list. Depositscriptures in your heart that the Holy Spiritcan use.

2. You can only claim a scripture if Godmakes it Rhema by special leading. In otherwords, it is not Rhema unless God

supernaturally quickens you.

3. If you find a scripture that relates to yoursituation, use it. If you have a need find ascripture that fulfills that need.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given byinspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,for reproof, for correction, for instruction inrighteousness,

4. Be lead by the Holy Spirit and open toscriptures he may quicken to you.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God inHim are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory ofGod through us.

5. Dont try to believe for anything beyondwhat is promised in scripture.
