It’s considered one of the fastest growing
industries as more and more consumers
and businesses demand products from
across the globe. That’s why many consider
logistics opportunity in motion — and the
Dayton region is already considered an
ideal location to build optimal distribution
networks. According to a study conducted
by Wright State University Center for Urban
and Public affairs and commissioned by
the Dayton Area Logistics Association, the
industry accounts for nearly 20,000 jobs,
$855 million in labor income and generates
an estimated $2.5 billion in sales for the
Dayton metropolitan area. From warehouse
managers, to forklift operators and packers,
the job opportunities are endless.
