Narrative

We want a very particular setting for our video. We have a few bullet points which we required to shoot out video. They also needed to be in walking distance from each other.

The village had to look a bit run down and ruff It had to be sub-urban. There needed to be a busy road. It had to contain a park which had to look a bit run down similarly to the village. There had to be a broken shed or something that looked abandoned.

We are struggling to come up with places that would suit of needs. We decided to come up with some places which had some of these bullet points and see which places suited us the most.

Chew Magna- Park, sub-urban, busy road. Nempnett Thrubwell- Park, sub-urban, abandoned area, run down. Temple Cloud- Busy road, park, sub-urban, run down. Bishop Sutton- Busy road, park, sub-urban, run down, abandoned area.

So after our research we found that Bishop Sutton was the ideal place for us as it fit all of our needs.

Performance

For our performance section we need a dark room where we could manipulate the lighting and sound. We decided it was best to stay on the school sight as it would be a pain to transport all of the bands equipment around. So we brain stormed places at school where we could film.

The dinner hall The sports Hall The music block The drama rooms

After going to each place we decided that the drama rooms were best suited for us. They had enough space to fit all the band equipment in and there were lights which we could use. Also they had large curtains which blocked out all the light making the mis-en-scene more effective.
