SpaceFor my space shot I chose to use a mixture of adobe after effects, adobe Photoshop and maxon’s cinema four D. I created a simple start field that I took from NASA. I edited it in Adobe Photoshop, then I used it as a background for my space scene.

Surgical TheatreI got hold of a white room (outside of 01zero-one studios). I dressed a table and added flood lights, also clipped a curtain to the celling and put a table full of surgical equipment. I used mostly towels, white bed sheets, white pillows, flood lights, a table, a large white cover, a table with wheels, a needle, and mixture of other equipment.

Overhead shot of the earthFor this I used Maxon’s Cinema four D. I created a 3D model of the earth texturing it various layers such as clouds, horizon, land, sea. I also gave the land masses a gradient so some areas where taller than others so it gave a higher level of accuracy. I also gave it a lighting effect. I took an additional texture map and masked it. So at the back where the earth didn’t receive light there would be little lights symbolising the tiny buildings and human infrastructure. Then I gave it a natural light so it would act like the sun. then later I animated it.
