1759 Productions was conceived in 1996 by owner and producer Iain Hopkins to provide a full

photographic production service for clients looking for creative production solutions,

delivered on budget and on time. Our little black book is jam-packed with great contacts and

fantastic locations for photography and video. We can handle everything from location to

lighting, from props to casting. Just tell us what you need and consider it done. We believe

that every single tiny detail of the production process contributes to the end result.

We have an exclusive partnership with The Lodge on Loch Goil in the stunningly beautiful

Cowal Peninsula, Argyll, Scotland. This amazing 5 Star Arts & Crafts villa comes fully-staffed

and its rooms and grounds are immortalised in many a fashion photograph. Our photo and

video shoot packages are seriously good value and include airport transfers, prop hire,

equipment hire, accommodation, all meals on and off site. The food speaks for itself. The fruit

and veggies come from the organic garden, the breads and cakes are all home-made, the fish

are fresh from the loch, and the local lamb, beef and poultry is second-to-none.

This is one location that will have your taste buds dancing all day. And yes, we can do

breakfast at dawn and dinner after dark, so you can make the most of the daylight.

HOW TO GET HERE

The Lodge on Loch Goil can be accessed via rail, road, sea and sky!

Rail: We are 30 minutes drive from Arrochar railway station. This station is serviced by

local trains and is also fortunate enough to be one of the stops for the overnight Caledonian

sleeper service from London Euston to the Highlands of Scotland. In March 2019 the

sleeper service will see the introduction of its new luxurious rolling stock. A range of

accommodation options will be offered, including: Comfort Seats, Classic Rooms, Club

Rooms and suites.

Road: If arriving by rail visitors have the option to be collected in one of our fleet of

vintage Land Rovers from Arrochar railway station.

Sea: The Lodge has recently submitted a planning proposal to build a new jetty and

pontoon directly in front of the Lodge on Loch Goil. This will enable visitors to experience

arrival by water either by sea plane, powerboat or yacht. We would like to offer boat

transfers to The Lodge from the new Jetty in Arrochar and also Garelochhead,

Helensburgh and Glasgow.

Sky: With Glasgow International airport only 1hr away it could not be easier for visitors to

come from near and far!
