Boots To Business B2B (0830-1600) 17-18: Ac�ve duty, Family members, or DoD cardholders can a�end the 2- day workshop; which consist of, a curriculum that provides valuable assistance to Service members exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportuni�es.

Capstone: (1300-1500), 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 Step 3 in Out-processing the A&FRC for separa�on/re�rement. Verifica�on of Career Readiness Standards. Every Wednesday from 1300-1500, walk-in – first come, first served.

EFMP Miracle League of Valdosta (1700-2000) 01 May 2018: Community Sports Program to support children and adults ages 4 and up. Provides a posi�ve environment for kids of all abili�es to learn to play baseball.

EFMP Rolling Thunder Bowling (1700-1900) 09 May: Open bowling for EFMP Families and also prac�ce for State Special Olympics Compe��on.

EFMP Asthma Awareness Event (1200-1300) 14 May: Training provided MDG on Asthma Ac�on plan and provide resources for those families impacted by Asthma.

Federal Resume Wri�ng (1300-1500) 17 May 2018 This workshop will provide you with effec�ve �ps in wri�ng a federal resume in order to procure a federal civilian posi�on.

Group Pre-separa�on Counseling: (0900-1200), 1st & 22nd Designed to complete the DD Form 2648 which covers Employment Assistance, Veteran Benefits, Reloca�on, etc. This mandatory briefing is required for every member separa�ng or re�ring from the military and is a prerequisite for a�ending the Senior TAP or Transi�on GPS (TAP). This workshop should be scheduled 90 days or more prior to your actual separa�on date. Please call 229-257-3333 to reserve your seat.

Group Pre-Deployment Briefing: (1400), 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. Held weekly Thursday at 1400 at the DCC Bldg. 649.

Newcomers’ Orienta�on: (0730-0900), 1st & 15th Welcome to Moody orienta�on for all military in-processing the base. Spouses are encouraged to a�end. Briefings include Wing Leadership, on-base agencies, and the informa�on fair for community services. Registra�on is through the base MPS.

ONBOARDING WELCOME BREAKFAST: (0700-1100), 24. Welcome new arrivals to the base with a sponsored breakfast and a tour of the base.

P&WL: Heart Link (0900-1400), 05: New Spouse Orienta�on program. This is a great opportunity to increase knowledge of the Air Force mission, culture, tradi�ons, protocols and available programs and service in a fun relaxed atmosphere. Make new friends while learning more about the Air Force.

Reintegra�on: (1330-1400), 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. Addresses the issues associated with adjus�ng to home life, reconnec�ng with family, adjus�ng to work and being separated from a deployment environment.

Remote Tours: (1330-1400), 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 Mandatory for members PCSing to remote loca�on. Family members are highly encouraged to a�end.

Spouse Pre-Deployment: (1000-1100), 07. For spouses whose sponsor is deploying or deployed. They will receive informa�on about the different services available and to give them an opportunity to ask ques�ons, meet staff, and tour center.

Spouse Reintegra�on: (1000-1100), 21. Addresses the issues associated with adjus�ng to home life, reconnec�ng with family, adjus�ng to work and being separated from a deployment environment.

Transi�on GPS: (0800-1600), 07-11 and 14-18 This 5-day workshop is designed to prepare those leaving the military with employment skills necessary to secure employment in the civilian sector. A�endees will learn the job process, understand vacancy announcements, resume prepara�on, the job interview, salary nego�a�on, and other valuable skills. Please call 229-257-3333 to request a seat. (Prerequisite: completed of DD 2648 through the Group Pre-separa-�on Counseling appointment).

Welcome Home! Reintegra�on: Mondays at 0900, Bldg. 404; Thursday’s at 1330, Bldg. 649. Mondays: 7, 14, 21 Thursdays 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 May, (1330-1400). Reintegra�on briefing required for those returning from deployment or TDY las�ng over 30 days.
