The community sector grows and grows and… 30,000 community led groups and organisations. 300+ transport projects. 3.5 million journeys. 200,000 hectares under community ownership. 70% of Western Isles. 85,000 homes for rent owned by CCHAs 13,000 community run sports clubs 50,000 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill. Turnover £60m. 23mw of electricity. Heating 160,000 homes. £15m income. 100’s of development trusts. Community owned enterprises and assets 978 community run childcare services. 6750 employees
