Guidelines for a 'Green Economy', understood as an economy

that protects natural resources and helps overcome poverty

The final document 'The Future We Want' doesn't offer

local governments a dedicated chapter.

However, all across the document references to

local governments and their role are included.

Strong individual interests are still

acting against sustainability.
