in 2006, the alumni of la martiniere girls' college formed an association for the ex-girls of the college called la martiniere girls' alumni association (lmgaa).

The Association opened its membership to the ex-boys of La Martiniere College, Lucknow on 13th September, 2008. Founders Day Dinner: 12th September, 2013 Founder's Day eve celebrated by LMGAA at Hotel Best Western Levana, on 12th September, 2013. A select gathering of invited guests including alumni and well- wishers of the College graced the occasion.

Diwali Dance Dhamaka 31st OCTOBER, 2013The LMGAA organised the Annual Diwali Dance Dhamaka with Halloween as the theme. It sure was a frightening evening!!

5D3 HIGHLIGHTS :-Highlights of the evening were the selection of The 'Spookiest Costume', The 'Diwali Princess' and The 'Diwali Queen'.

The evening came to a dazzling end with magnificent fireworks which were a delight to all present.

7WINTER CARNIVAL- 1ST DECEMBER, 2013La Martiniere Girls' Alumni Association organized its annual open fete on Sunday, 1st December, 2013 at La Martiniere Girls College from 11am to 7pm. It was a fun filled day for Lucknowites thatthronged theportals of the school. At the Kids' corner the children enjoyed the horse and Tonga rides, Merry go rounds, Bouncies, Aeroplane rides.

The games stall of NGO KHEL was a big hit with youngsters.

People rushed to the dance floor and rocked to the music by DJ Moni.

Alumni Reunion Dinner: 14th DECEMBER, 2013The La Martiniere Girls AlumniAssociation and the La MartiniereAlumni jointly hosted the Annual Reunion Dinnerfor thealumnion Saturday, 14th December, 2013 at La Martiniere Girls' College..

Renowned writers,Mrs. Mehru Jaffer and Mr. Akash Banerjee, alumni of the school were facilitated for their outstanding achievements in the field of media.A Band specially came down from Delhi to enthral the crowd with their lovely music.

The evening was possible with the patronage and encouragment of both the Principals, Mrs. F. Abraham and Mr. C. Mc Farland.

PRIZE DAY 22ND MARCH, 2013On Prize Day, retired members of staff, one each from the girls and boys colleges are given the Life Time Achievement Award for their outstanding contribution in the field of education. The Association gives a medal for good conduct to a deserving student and a scholarship of Rs. Fifteen Thousand to a deserving student, as chosen by the Principal of the College.

A support staff is given a fixed deposit of Rupees Ten Thousand.The LMGAA medal for ExemplaryConduct: Ritika Kohli.

The LMGAA Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Late Mrs.Vandana Mathur [LMGC] and Mr. Trevor Savaille [LMC].

LMGAA also awarded Smt. Kariman for her dedicated services as support staff in the College.

HEALTH CAMP - 29th March, 2014A medical camp was organized on Saturday, 29th March, 2014 at Mamata School at Itaunja by La Martiniere Girls' Alunmi Association in association with the NGO KHEL and Eras Medical College.

Free medicines were also distributed. The students were made aware about the cause of the disease and their preventive measures as well. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, biscuits were distributed.

PUPPET SHOW : ON 18TH JULY 2014A puppet show was organized by La Martiniere Girls Alumni Association on18th July, 2014in the College auditorium for the students of thePreparatory Department and the Junior School, which had Obedience to Parents as its theme.

Adopt and Plant a Tree: An initiative by LMGAA 27thJuly, 2014 La Martiniere Girls Alumni Association organized the annual tree plantation drive on 27thJuly, 2014 to celebrate Van Mahotsav. A novel initiative was taken where the guests could adopt and plant a tree this year and dedicate the saplings to their loved ones.

The saplings of jacaranda, amaltas, teak, bougainvillea and teak were planted on the campus apart from various fruit trees like guava, custard apple, banana and lime were planted in the College orchard. RAIN DANCE : 14th Aug, 2014 The lush green lawns came alive as girls from the age of 7 to 17 years forgot the world around them and joined the musical beats of DJ Moni, who was at his best. It was a grand way to celebrate independence week.

OTHER WORKS UNDERTAKEN BY LMGAAThe Association has sponsored meals, prizes, mementoes and gifts for competitions and activities organized by the various clubs of the College.

The Association also sponsored State level Basketball Championships.

The members of the Association have tried their utmost to work for the benefit of their school and society.
