    1 Inlet Guide Vane Technology

    Fundamental to ef�cient operation, is the computer controlled Variable Inlet Guide Vane Assembly, supplied with all units shipped.

    The IGV is a performance enhancing device precisely controlling inlet air �ow during reduced consumption periods.

    Its innovative design principle of pre-rotating the air�ow in the same direction as the impeller, assures optimized, energy ef�cient delivery of compressed air.

    8 Oil-tank/Cooler-shell Block and Alternative Drives

    Highly effective oil lubrication system for the gearbox and ef�cient air cooling system is an integral part of the LH Series Frame design. The Frame design can also facilitate alternative drives such as Diesel Engine or Turbine, creating an impressive product speci�cation covering multiple applications and installations.

    3 Quality Gear Manufacturing

    By introducing manufacturing techniques to the highest levels, we are able to repeatedly produce helical pinion gears that will provide quiet, vibration free and low stress operation for many thousands of working hours. Our manufacturing process complies with AGMA 13 International Standards.

    Applied Nitriding treatments encapsulate the gears with a case hardened �nish, the gears, when completed, are a product of excellence.

    2 High-performance Impellers

    Precise design and manufacture of this key component is critical to the performance and reliability of a Centrifugal compressor. State of the art geometrical blade design provides exceptionally high ef�ciency across the entire operating range, whilst its corrosion and abrasion resistant material offers Impressive durability for this Premium Product.

    The integrity of the impeller’s quality and reliability is assured at source with World Class balancing and 115% critical and over speed testing. These procedures are carried out by highly trained personnel at our Production Facilities Worldwide.

    4 Long Life Bearings

    Crucial bearing lubrication utilizes an oil �lm design using clean, cool, pressure controlled oil which is internally generated and precisely �ltered. The high-speed pinion gear assemblies rotate within tilting pad journal bearings. These semi-permanent, extremely reliable bearings, ensure consistently ef�cient operation, free of oil turbulation and heat buildup.

    6 Horizontal-split Gear boxes and Frame Design

    Horizontally split gear boxes, tapered casting location dowels, oil leak elimination (face to face O Ring Sealing), built in lifting and access points, provide best practice workmanship and safe working conditions.

    Advanced frame designs recognize the need for high quality robust casting/pro�le-steel and components that are able to provide longevity and satisfaction for the clients.

    5 Guaranteed Sealing System

    The LH Series multi-stage, totally effective sealing speci�cation, assures 100% pure air delivery even under prolonged low system compressed air demands.

    Manufactured from Aluminum, the air and oil seals are a non-contact, split labyrinth design.

    7 Intercooler Design and Serviceability

    Industry standard water-in-tube Intercooler design allows for convenient cleaning, inspection and maintenance when required. Removable end covers allow for any internal corrosion deposits to be cleared thus preventing potential deterioration of the cooler performance.

    The plate-�nned tube structure permits excellent heat transfer and minimum pressure loss. Coated steel/iron surfaces, and copper alloy tubes with aluminum �ns offer excellent standard corrosion/erosion resistance and long life. Optional materials and coatings are available for severely corrosive environments.

    The design offers a semi-permanent lifespan, ease of inspection,cleaning, removal and complete change.

    All are important factors to consider when preparing planned maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

    The combination journal/thrust bearings supporting the bull gear are composed of four lobe journals and tapered thrust pads which both effectively work to minimize friction losses.

    Safety First

    The unique LH Series Touch Controller scans all vital compressor operating parameters. Vital functions such as oil pressure, level and temperature, critical speed, vibration and motor performance cannot be compromised.The Control logic is designed to prevent any dangerous or potentially damaging operating conditions from occurring.In the unlikely event a parameter is detected out of tolerance, the compressor will shut-down safely and in a controlled manner. Data retrieval will facilitate interrogation for a comprehensive fault diagnosis to be undertaken.
