The document, Deed F:5:295, assures the correct line of descent of Reuben Weidler from his grandparents Jacob and Anna (Weibrecht) Weidler through his father Jacob Weidler.

As per the will of Anna Weidler (Lancaster County, PA, Will Book M:1:524-525, 3 August 1820/30 April 1821), widow of Jacob Weidler of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, PA, a bequest was assigned to the children of her deceased son. Jacob. The following deeds represent the releases executed by Anna's eight grandchildren by her son Jacob to the executor of Anna's will who was her other son, John Weidler.

To all people to whom these presents shall come, Reuben Weidler of Leacock Township in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania, taylor, one of the sons and legal repre­sentatives of Jacob Weidler, late of York County in the state aforesaid yeoman deceased, who was the son of Anna Weidler, late of Manheim Township in the County of Lancaster

aforesaid widow deceased, Sends Greetings Whereas the said Anna Weidler deceased in and by her last will and testament in writing bearing date the third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty, amongst other things therein contained did give and bequeath one equal fourth part or share of the residue and remainder of her estate unto the children or legal representatives of her son the said Jacob Weidler deceased, to be paid to them by her executor in her said will named as soon as they or any of them arrive to the age of twenty-one years. And of her said last will and testament the said testatrix did nominate constitute and appoint her son John Weidler to be the executor. As in and by the said deceased's last will and testament, duly proven approved and remaining in the Register's Office at Lancaster for the County of Lancaster reference thereto being had may appear, Now Know Ye that I the said Reuben Weidler having attained the full age of twenty-one years, do hereby acknowledge that I have this day had and received of and from the said John Weidler, executor of the last will and testament of the said Anna Weidler deceased, the sum of fifty-two dollars and ninety-eight cents lawful money of the United States in full satisfaction and payment of my share and part dividend and proportion of in to and out of all and singular the estate of the said Anna Weidler deceased, being one-eighth part of one equal fourth part or share of the residue and remainder of the said Anna Weidler deceased's estate (bequeathed to the children and legal representatives of her deceased son Jacob as before recited) Agreeably to an administration account thereof rendered by the said John Weidler executor aforesaid filed in the Register's Office of Lancaster County and passed before the Orphans Court of said county Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty-two. As by the said account may appear. Also I do acknowledge to have received of the said John Weidler executor aforesaid thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents in full of the interest accrued on my said share and part of the said Anna Weidler's estate to this· day, Therefore I the said Reuben Weidler do by these presents release acquit and forever discharge the said John Weidler. executor aforesaid his heirs executors and administrators of and from the share and part dividend and proportion of him the said Reuben Weidler of into and out of the estate of the said Anna Weidler deceased under her last will and testament or Otherwise and all interest accrued thereupon, and of and from all actions, suits, payments, accounts, reckonings claims and demands whatsoever for or by reason thereof or of any other act matter cause or thing whatsoever respecting the same, In Witness whereof I the said Reuben Weidler have hereunto set my hand and seal the twelfth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and twenty-six.
