This Training Program has been designed to equip your maintenance teams with an understanding of how to

maintain, adjust and trouble shoot your Boart Longyear LM series core drilling rigs to enable them optimise maintenance programs and minimise downtime.

• Component definitions. DAY 2

• Oils and Filtration

• Understanding Hydraulic circuits (classroom review and on machine identification of valves).

• Adjusting Hydraulic valves (hands on using flow bench and dyno). DAY 3

• Feed Frame Maintenance and Repairs.

• Rotation Unit and Chuck Repairs.

• Rod Holder Functionality and Maintenance.

DAY 4

• Fine Feed system. • Overview of Electrical group.

• Hydraulic troubleshooting (hands on in workshop).
