In Fernando’s first season at Anfield he was short listed for both the PFA Player of The Year award and the PFA Young Player of the year award, as well as finishing second place behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the FWA Footballer of The Year Award. This was all because of his prolific goal scoring ability, scoring 29 goals in all competitions in just his first season alone!

As Torres’ time at Anfield went on he was performing a little worse every game. With his inconstancy when Liverpool received a 50 million pound bid from Chelsea for the spaniard they had to take the deal.

Although Torres was only at the club for 4 years so many of the fans admired him for his goal scoring ability. Now many Liverpool fans will probably say that they hate the Spaniard because he moved to Title Rivals Chelsea, but if you were to ask them the same question while he was at Liverpool, it would be a completely different answer.
