Adult Recess: Participants in this group work hard, but they play harder. Hula hoop, boot camp, dance, Pilates, strength, step, dodge ball, jump rope... We do it all!

(AOA) Cardio Dance & Flexibility: Tailored for older adults, this lively low impact workout combines fun dance movements to improve cardiovascular endur-ance, with muscular strength and flexibility routines.

(AOA) Enhance Fitness®: Enhance Fitness® focuses

on dynamic cardiovascular exercise, strength, balance and flexibility for older adults. Fitness assessments are included. A chair is available for support.

(AOA) Strength & Conditioning: Tailored for older adults, have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic bands and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Aqua Fitness: Enhance your quality of life through this adult group water fitness program. Use the water to enhance agility and range of motion. Walking, running, jumping and a variety of aerobic movements are performed in the shallow end of the pool to increase heart rate and provide both a cardiovascular and strength training workout.

Arthritis & Injury: This class is designed for those with limited movement. The program consists of mild water exercises that emphasize range of mo-tion and strength.

Above the Barre: Fusing the best of ballet, strength, yoga and Pilates with challenging, low impact resistance moves that build total body strength. This class will strengthen, tone, and define muscle from head to toe, all with little to no impact on joints. No dance experience is required for this class. It will give you a great workout! Boot Camp: A class designed of high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body. Circuit-style routines jumpstart cardio fitness and creative muscle toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight makes this class chal-lenging and exciting.

CYCLING CLASSES:

All Levels Cycle: Beginner to experienced; join

us for a great ride! The class involves upbeat, motivating music and group camaraderie.

Cycle + Circuit: Combine your cycling with

bursts of strength training for a total body workout that never gets boring. This class will include half strength work and half cycling in varying intervals.

Power Pedal Cycling: Interval training for

intermediate to advanced cyclists. This class focuses on endurance, strength, proper form and technique.

Endurance Cycling: Interval training for

intermediate cyclists. This class focuses on endurance, strength, proper form and technique.

Open Ride Time: Work on your cycling on your

own during this time block. Room is available to ride on your own or with a friend or two.

Core & More: Non-aerobic muscle toning class that incorporates a variety of exercises used to target your abs, glutes and hips. Increases stability and balance by targeting the muscles of the abs, back, legs, and other major muscle groups using a variety of equipment and techniques. Dance Fitness: Join us for this fun-filled class where you will learn dance routines and get an amazing workout at the same time! Taught at an intermediate level.

FUNctional Fitness: An intense class focusing on a strength-centered workout that uses strength equip-ment, including the Body Bar, resistance tubing & bands, and weights. You’ll bring more muscle definition to the body, build strength and endurance, and you’ll sweat too!

HIIT: is a high–intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, featuring exercises series that last four minutes. This fast paced workout is for the intermediate or advanced fitness level.

Low Impact Dance Aerobics: This lively moderate low impact workout combines fun dance movements to improve cardiovascular endurance, with muscular strength and flexibility routines. Weights and resistance bands are sometimes used in class.

Movement for Better Balance: Moving for Better Balance is a fall prevention program. All movements adhere to fundamental principles of Tai Chi: involving weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing stances, good body alignment and coordinated movements conducted in a continuous, circular and flowing motion. Move-ment coordinates with the inhale/exhale breathing cycle. Movements are taught in sets which can be performed separately and linked to form a sequential routine. Red Hot Dance Fitness: Are you ready to dance? This class combines high energy music with easy to follow moves to get you dancing to songs you hear on the radio. Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Top 40 - this class will have you moving and sweating like never before! No dance experience required, just a desire to move and have fun!

Step: Step class is designed for intermediate to ad-vanced exercisers. Class format utilizes a 4 or 6 inch platform and provides basic patterns that incorporate lower body movements and simple choreography. Class includes strength/resistance component utilizing a variety of equipment.

Step Circuit 101: New to Step? Master step aerobics moves in a circuit format while getting a great workout tailored to your level of fitness.

Strength & Conditioning: This high-energy class includes both strength training and muscle condition-ing. Class includes a strength/resistance component utilizing a variety of equipment. Express Class condenses workout in to a quick 30 minute session. Tai Chi: Tai Chi is a martial art that uses slow move-ments to promote health, circulation and relaxation. It concentrates on breathing, core muscle strength and harmony of the mind, body and spirit. This class is suitable for all levels. TRX (Group): This new group fitness class will take your workout to the next level. With this simple, chal-lenging and full body workout, you will build strength and stamina, increase total body mobility and stability, and strengthen your core. Turbo Kick®: Turbo Kick is a high energy, cardio class that combines HIIT training, bodyweight exercises, and kickboxing moves. You will build muscle and cardio-vascular endurance as hot mixes of current music move you through this hour-long workout. This class requires no previous kickboxing experience or equipment.

Zumba®: High energy hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Join the party!

Zumba Gold®: Designed for the active older adult, Zumba Gold is the Zumba experience done at a lower intensity and a great class for those new to Zumba! Zumba Toning: Learn how to blend specific Zumba® moves and body sculpting techniques using maraca-like Zumba Toning Sticks for an intense strength-training experience.

YOGA CLASSES:

All Levels Yoga: Appropriate for all levels, in-

cluding beginners. Postures and instructions are adapted to meet the needs of the individual students in each class.

Chair Yoga: You will move your whole body

through a complete series of seated and stand-ing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to in-crease flexibility, balance and range of move-ment. Perfect for active older adults, people who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically.

Family Yoga: This class is for the whole family to

enjoy. Postures are used to increase abdominal and back strength and build stamina. Class also includes stretches for youth.

Gentle Yoga: A class that utilizes an ancient

practice aimed to combine relaxation, breathing techniques and exercise to combat stress, help circulation and movement of the joints.

Hatha Flow Yoga: is a sequential, rhythmic flow

from Asana (posture) to utilizing breath, which will build endurance, stamina, strength and flexi-bility. This class is recommended for students with prior or consistent Yoga practice.

Intermediate/Advanced Vinyasa Yoga: Yoga

for conditioning with Vinyasa flow and some power & strength conditioning. As you progress from a physical to an energetic practice, you’ll use yoga poses to tune into the body-mind con-nection within

Pilates Mat: Based on the Joseph Pilates tech-

nique, this class is designed to increase core strength and flexibility plus align the mind and body. Series of movements are linked with the breath and performed from a sitting, reclining or standing position and may include equipment such as stability balls or resistance bands.

Restorative Yoga: This class is appropriate for

all students seeking the benefits of a very relax-ing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combi-nation of gentle hatha and deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic condi-tions are welcome in these classes. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No prior yoga experi-ence required.

Yoga Core: Similar to Pilates, this class focuses

on building strength through the core muscles, which are essential to a deepening yogic asana.

Yoga Flow: In this class you'll learn an energetic

and innovative approach to vinyasa yoga through a breath-led cycle of creative poses (asanas). Classes are designed to empower the soul while strengthening the body.

Yoga for Special Conditions: This class is for

members with arthritis, MS, or other chronic conditions. The instructor will take time to help you modify poses taking your body and it’s limi-tations into consideration.
