Transcript of Little Failure

1. Little Failure (Yes, throw some planes an crud, I dont care!)is there even anything wrong with the guy? 2. Early Life (and maybe a diagnosis.) Igor Semyonovich Shteyngart (last name often pronounced Shitgart) Born July 5, 1972 in Leningrad, USSR. Possible diagnosis would have been acrophobia (extreme fear of heights). Father builds ladder in living area for Igor to overcome his fear. Among other thing (including the ladder) he earned said title. 3. Is anyone having fun yet?(A major factor in Shitgarts development)cause I sure as heel aint! Moved to the U.S. well before his teenaged years. Affects development because of the sudden change in culture, AKA: culture shock (oh darn!). Amongst the hellacious move, there was plenty of F-Bombing, including the dropping of the Mother F-Bombing about halfway through the book (do NOT read this book aloud with children in the room). As well as moving, this dirty talk could have also affected his development (in fact I know it did). 4. Aspergers? Are we sure???(A S.W.A.G.: Scientific Wild @$$ Guess) The only other diagnosis I could detect was Aspergers syndrome. A developmental disorder affecting ability to effectively socialize and communicate. Had trouble communicating with peers while in Stuyvesant High School. Could also explain why he had so many girlfriends. 5. Are we done yet? Time goes on. By the end of the book, his diagnosis seems to disapear (how the hell is that possible?) 6. Thank God, the last slide! (RECAP!!!) Book was about a young Soviet boy who moved, and had to adjust to America Difficult to pinpoint developmental factors. Dont read it aloud.youll be sorry. 7. THE END.... (yes, its a donkeys @$$)
