Literacy activity 26.5.20 Today we are continuing with the ‘ee’ sound. We are going to start by reading some words with Geraldine the Giraffe in ‘Geraldine the Giraffe’s Flash Cards – Episode EE’. Your child should be able to read some of the story independently, but they might need support with longer words. First, read the story all the way through. Then ask your child to colour in or write a list of all the words with the ‘ee’ sound in. You could (if you want a challenge!) Ask your child to draw a picture and write a sentence about a word with the ‘ee’ sound in. On the third page there are some pictures to give you some ideas. Remember finger spaces and sounding out to spell.
