Auctioneers Conditions of SaleThe stock will be sold in euros and all payments in Euros only on day of sale i.e. each bid is

€1.05 and no fees charged to buyers. The biddings to be regulated by the Auctioneers.

The higest bidder to be the buyer, and if any dispute shall arise, the lot in dispute to be put up

again and resold, or the Auctioneers may declare the purchaser at their discretion and their

decision shall be final. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse the bid of any person with-

out being called upon to give a reason for such action.

All lots to be paid for at the close of the sale. No lot or lots shall be removed from the sale

premises until paid for and a pass-out slip obtained from the Auctioneer’s clerk, but each and

every lot shall immediately at the fall of the hammer be considered as delivered, and be and

remain in every respect at the absolute risk of the respective purchaser or purchasers there

of, and shall be removed from the Sale premises at the purchaser’s expense. Loading shall

be the duty and responsibility of the purchaser.

The purchaser to give his name and dwelling place, and to remove the stock immediately

after the sale.

Every care has been taken in the compilation of this catalogue but no responsibility is taken

by the Auctioneers for any error appearing therein or in regard to the qualification of the ani-

mals and all purchasers must be on this distinct understanding.

All statements in the catalogue or any made by the Auctioneers at the time of sale, also the

identification of the animals, are the entire responsibility of the Vendors. The Auctioneers take

no personal responsibility for the correctness of such statements or identities.

The Auctioneers act as Agents for the Vendors and any action taken by a purchaser must be

against the Vendor and not against the Auctioneers, and “vice versa”.

Neither the Auctioneers nor the Vendors will be responsible for any accident through fire or

any other cause whatsoever; nor for any damage done by animals prior to, during or after the

sale.

If any of these conditions are unfulfilled, the Vendors or the Auctioneers shall have power to

re-sell the lot or lots concerned, retaining any surplus and charging any deficiency to the de-

faulter.

FOREWORD

Welcome to the 31st LISDUFF SALE of calved and in-calf heifers.

The catalogue once again contains members of the cow families that have served the herd so

well over many years. These families, along with breeding high production, had 64 EXCEL-

LENT and 114 VG cows at LISDUFF for the summer of 2013. The Herd is completely AI

bred to the best International AI Sires.

Alongside the ever-reliable LESLIE, SASHA,EMMY, MARY, DAIRYBREIZ and ELLEN

families we are offering members of three NEW FAMILIES at LISDUFF. Lot 4 is a

DAMION from a VG88 TO-MAR D FORTUNE daughter of AMLAIRD LEE ANGEL

(EX), a daughter of KINGSTEAD CHIEF ADEEN (EX94) whose dam was AITKEN-

BRAE STARBUCK ADA(EX 94). Her heifer calf by CORDESMAID STONEWALL also

sells. Lot 41 is a RADON daughter of the full-sister to the exciting NCBC AI Sire ARD-

NASALEM SEVEN (AXN). This very promising heifer comes from a GOLDWYN dam

bred from the MONAMORE branch of the MARKWELL RAVEN family and she sells in-

calf to CORDESMAID STONEWALL. Lot 43 is a GOMEZ LEE member of the MARGOT

family that produced MAN-OMAN. She sells in-calf to CORDESMAID STONEWALL.

A group of 12 heifer calves from the calved heifer section will be offered after their dams. They

are Sired by STONEWALL, TWIST, NEFAS and PALERMO

We enter a new chapter in breeding with the first progeny of what is an outstanding Sire –the

GOLDWYN son from Germany - GUARINI. His oldest daughters in the herd now 12 months

old are spectacular. He breeds milk (+500kgs), Protein (+19kgs,+.04%), Fertility (-3.1 days),

EBI 211 plus outstanding conformation and they’re black. Three of the 4 bulls on offer are

sired by him and out of great production and conformation cows.

SIRES of CALVES and SERVICE SIRES

COGENT TWIST (S1036) is the highest rated progeny tested bull in the UK. A SHOT-

TLE son from a LOOKING MAJOR dam that hails from the cow family of PATRON

and SPOCK he has been used extensively at LISDUFF for two years and his oldest

daughters now at 12 months old look very classy. He is a high production bull at +557kgs

milk, +25kgs bf, +.06%bf, +19kgs P, +.02%P and an EBI of 140. His progeny excel in ud-

ders and legs and feet.

CORDESMAID STONEWALL (S1163) is a SHOTTLE son bred in the USA from a

DURHAM dam with protein up to 3.7%. Breeding powerful and correct daughters with

great udders he is +435kgs milk, +12kgs bf, -.07%bf, +15kgs P, +.01%P and with a calving

interval of -5.07days he has an EBI of 177.

GASY (S1445) is a genomicaly tested French son of KLASSIC BIG TIME (a son of RE-

GANCREST BARBI) and out of a STOL JOC dam and offers something that is differ-

ent and yet promising. Combining +265kgs milk with +12kgs bf, +.04%BF, +12kgs P,

+.07%P and a calving interval of -1.8 days gives him an EBI of 125. He scores highly for

udders +1.7 and legs and feet at +1.7.

AL-PAR SHOTTLE NEFAS (APF) is an Italian SHOTTLE son from a JOCKO

BESNE dam with protein to 3.7% that comes from the LOU-ELLA family that produced

LEADMAN and LORD LILY. He combines this impeccable pedigree with a very bal-

anced proof of +328 kgs milk, +12kgs bf, +.00%bf, +13kgs P, +.03%P, -1.83 days calving

interval and an EBI of 143. He scores +1.78 for udders and +1.18 for feet and legs.

- NOTE -

Only female sexed semen has been used from the above bulls.

The usage of female sexed semen in the herd over the last number of years has resulted in over 95% heifer calves.
