Student Success Initiative

A district should provide accelerated instruction for students in grades 3-8

The accelerated instruction should identify the needs of the student and be specific and prescriptive

July 1st TEA letter – “accelerated instruction must occur after each administration of the test, including the third administration.”

Deadline for submitting an expedited waiver to adjust the timeline for accelerated instruction for 2010-2011 school year is September 30, 2010
