The Cell Pendant is the result of the first collaboration between Fry and Jones, born out of a love for the industrial process of metal spinning. They have combined a cage of cross-ply bamboo fingers that protect the metal shade.

This pendant lamp design incorporates an industrial feel complimented by its use of spun aluminium – brightening up any interior whilst being sustainable and hard wearing.

Work lamp is inspired by lighting used on construction sites adapted for a contemporary domestic environment. It serves as task, ambient or pendant lighting. The hand turned opulent bamboo contrasts with the industrial appearance of the steel cage designed to both protect the bulb whilst allowing a flood of ambient light to illuminate any workspace.

BagalightsThe idea for the original Bagalight was born through wanting to create a prod-uct using an everyday item that normally wouldn’t be considered to have any real value. By designing simple cut-outs on the inside of the bag Liqui have created a really unusual lighting solution that not only challenges people’s preconceptions of value in design but is also environmentally friendly - designed to only be used with energy-saving bulbs and made entirely from paper and card. This pendant light comes in a variety of different styles - as does the table lamp version: Bagalight 2.

All the pieces that make up the Edge collection are constructed from a light but strong cardboard.

The thick corrugated edges have been left exposed to show the fascinating, integral structure, while the flat outside surfaces are laminated in a variety of original, decorative prints for a unique modern meets traditional look that is also environmentally friendly.

The Edge range is made from a triple wall extra strong starched cardboard and every piece is hand cut by our dedicated craftsmen. The products are finished with a printed graphical veneer.

These contemporary British made lampshades are named ‘Splice’ after the furniture range with the same name that were deigned for an award winning cafe in Putney, London. The shades use the angular net pattern as seen in the splice chair panels giving it the same industrial feel. The angular shape was inspired by the geometry of dockside machinery and the super structure of ships that surround us at our workshop on Shoreham sea front.

The Splice shades are made from 100% Polypropylene and come in three different colours. The Splice shade is also availiable in a special editions range featuring a willow pattern-esk vinyle print.

The Symbol Lamps are made from recycled saw mill dust hand cut into the silhouette of a familiar lamp shape. We paint them with a water-based paint and then finish with a protective coat of clear lacquer.

LiquI have taken a simple flat sign-like shape as a starting point and then applied a high gloss finish to create a crisp cut-out 3-dimensional form. The bulb hangs from the top of the “shade” in a modern take on the bare bulb in the attic look.

Splice ChairThe latest range of Liqui furniture, Splice, has been inspired by the maritime surroundings of Liquis studio/workshop at Shoreham Port, on the South Coast of England.

Using the angular shapes seen in such things as dockside machinery, sea-defences and the super structure of ships they have initially produced a set of stacking stools made from sustainably sourced Birch ply that can be used in either a commercial or domestic setting.

The Splice range is constructed from CNC cut Birch Ply designed to reduce material wastage by smarter component nesting.

We use a water based paint with a layer of clear satin finish lacquer to protect the finish.

The Curva Collection has evolved around two styles. Curva harks back to Regency times - while Curva 2 has more of a Queen Anne influence. The tables are made from industrial wood waste with a high gloss finish.

With their Curva Collection Liqui have bent the rules, literally, and strayed from the minimalist dictum of ‘less is more’. Starting with a modern formed shape they have transformed it into something quite different. The simple straight lines of the curving tops flow into decorative legs inspired by antique furniture - and the high gloss finish compliments the curvaceous shapes as well as reflecting the highly polished surfaces of their traditional counterparts.

Harrison table is inspired by the methods and outcomes of plastic extrusion. The concept was to create juxtaposition between styling seen in mass production techniques such as extrusion, against the opulent American black walnut and fine craftsmanship in the seamless construction of this solid hardwood table.

From the detailed joinery of the legs to the elegant texture of the walnut, the Harrison tends to take the centre stage in a room, as well as functioning as a strong and durable table.

The Cyril Side Board is manufactured from American Black Walnut with the option of the doors in either the same wood or painted satin white with an extra smooth silky finish. The wood is simply oiled to bring out the grain and protect from water damage.

With the beautiful satin white doors contrasted against the dark walnut this is not like any shed you’ve seen before. The cherry on the cake is the white hasp and staple closure with a traditional brass padlock.

And the name Cyril? Let’s just say he was an inveterate hoarder and a man of many sheds.

If you would prefer a more classic look the front can be left plain.
