Technology

Space Optimisation Space Optimisation uses sophisticated acoustic modelling to build up a complete picture of howthe speakers, their placement, and the unique characteristics of a room interact to affect the soundheard. It then precisely identifies frequencies that are artificially distorted by the environment, andreduces their energy, to reveal the music that would otherwise be hidden.

All Linn systems have Space Optimisation built in, and it’s a free software upgrade to all Linn DSowners.

Den viktigste komponenten er selve platespiller dri-

vverket. Desto bedre drivverk, desto mindre støy

og hastighets avvik videreføres til stiften med færre

uønskede vibrasjoner som igjen påvirker dy-

namikken og timingen i musikken.

Pickup-armens oppgave er å styre stiften gjennom

rillene. En god arm optimaliserer stiftens arbeids-

betingelser og ivaretar energien med minimal

påvirkning. Bedre pickup-arm gir bedre dynamikk

og tydeligere musikkgjengivelse!

Det er stiftens bevegelser i platerillen som skaper musikken. Mikroskopiske bevegelser

vertikalt og horisontalt generer en strømimpuls som forsterkes opp av pickupen.

Stiften skiller ikke mellom musikk og vibrasjoner/resonanser fra platespillerdrivverket og

pickup-arm. Platespillerens primæroppgave er å gi stiften best mulig arbeidsbetingelser!
