How to setup LinkedIn

• Login as a Superadmin and click on the ‘Job Boards‘ tab

• Search for LinkedIn – choose the right one – Let‘s start with the first one ‘LinkedIn‘

• After you click on LinkedIn you will see this page here – fill in all the ‘subscription details‘

LinkedIn Contract ID: You can obtain your Contract ID by logging into your Recruiter page and doing the following

LinkedIn Company ID: You can obtain theCompany ID from the company URL when youlog in to LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Use Email Address to Post & LinkedIn Email Address (optional): if you choose “no“ and leave the email address blank – theemail address will be taken automaticallyfrom LinkedIn – the system will take yourcompany ID. If you change the drop down to‘yes‘ and fill in an email address – it will change from the company ID to a theconsultant‘s ID.

• Login with LinkedIn account

• Click on link ‘Go to LinkedIn Recruiter‘ at the top

• In the next screen, click on the menu option ‘More‘ and select ‘Admin‘ underneath it

• Click on the link ‘Authorize new partner‘ under the section ‘Job Posting Partners‘

This is the process LinkedIn requires – so that users are authorized to post from broadbean to Linkedin

• In the pop-up, make sure right default job poster is selected

• If you want to change the default job poster, please select another oneavailable in the drop down list and click ‘Save‘

• These steps set new default job poster for the contact.

• If you have any questions, please post your query on LinkedIn developernetwork.

• Once all of the setup is completed, the LinkedIn feed will be activated on your Broadbean account and you will then be able to post jobs to your LinkedIn company page via Broadbean.

We can see on that screenshotthat CareerBuilder has 17 jobsposted – Please click on ‘See jobs‘to access to full list

• On the company page the advert is shownin a jobs section

Setup LinkedIn Company Share

• Login as a Superadmin and click on the ‘Job Boards‘ tab

• Search for LinkedIn – choose the right one – ‘LinkenIn Company Share‘

• You will be redirected automatically to the subscription area

• Again please decide who you want to give access. Office, team or user.

• Posting on LinkedIn company share is for free

The LinkedIn Company Share feed will enable you to post jobs as a status message on your company's LinkedIn page instead of a personal LinkedIn page from your Broadbean account.In order to activate the LinkedIn Company Share feed on your Broadbean account, all you have to do is follow the steps below:

Setup LinkedIn Company Share

• Please log into Braodbean as Superadmin and go to the job boards tab – search for theLinkedIn company share and click on it in the drop down list

• On the subscription details page, enter your LinkednIn Company ID (you can find this 5 –digit number code in your LinkedIn company page URL – e.g.: https://www.linkedin.com/company/88025) and allocate this at either company, office or team-level on the panel

• Tick the box in the Active column on the left-hand side

• Click on Save to set this up.

PLEASE NOTE you will need to check the settings below before posting to this feed:Any user wishing to post to LinkedIn Company Share will need to have the LinkedIn Social Status feed activated at user-level AND be registered as an Administrator on your LinkedIn company page. – check slide 7

• Once all of the set up is completed, the LinkedIn Company Share feed will be activated on your Broadbean account and you will then be able to post jobs to your LinkedIn company page via Broadbean.

• Your advert appears on your company page status

Setup LinkedIn Social Status

• The LinkedIn Social Status feed will enable you to post jobs to your LinkedIn from your Broadbean account.

• In order to activate the LinkedIn Social Status feed on your Broadbean account, all you have to do is follow a 2 part process – the following instruction will help you to activate LinkedIn Social Status as a social media channel in your Broadbean account, Users then have to login separately to Broadbean to link their individual LinkedIn accounts with Broadbean ( follow slide 18 for user instruction)

• Login as a Superadmin and click on the ‘Job Boards‘ tab

• Search for LinkedIn – choose the right one – ‘LinkedIn Social Status‘

• You will be redirected automatically to the subscription area

• Again please decide who you want to give access. Office, team or user.

• Posting on LinkedIn social status is for free – the only thing you have to do is to activate it, click ‘Save‘ and then get your users to log in & authenticate to LinkedIn. This is described in the next section.

How to connect your individual LinkedIN account to Broadbean – User guide

• Log into your Broadbean account

• Click the ‘Settings‘ tab

• Click the ‘Link your account to LinkedIn‘ button

This will open up a new window which will enable you to grant Broadbean access to your LinkedIn account

• Enter your LinkedIn account details and click ‘Allow access’

• You will then be taken back to the ‘Settings’ page, to show you that your LinkedIn account is signed in and now connected to Broadbean
