LinkedIn Selling Tip #28 – LinkedIn Premium vs Free Membership
Immediate | Continuous | Profitable | Incremental Revenue | Custom Designed | Pre-Built | High ROI | 100% Risk Free
I don’t recommend upgrading to premium unless you’re familiar with LinkedIn’s free features; something you can make
sure of with LinkedIn training. You won’t necessarily need premium, however there are several advantages for
deciding to upgrade:
InMails: This allows you to contact a person on LinkedIn even if you aren’t a connection. So, you can make a good
impression and reach out to people you may not have been able to otherwise.
Stand out: Your profile picture can be made larger, you’ll get an expanded profile header, and your profile will be
twice as large as free users’ profiles on searches, with more information provided on it. Also, there will be a yellow
premium logo to the side of your name. You’re likely to get a lot more views on your profile with this setup.

You can target the people you want to find in a more specific search with more options.
Sponsored Posts:
You can pay to have your post appear on people who aren’t connections’ activity feeds, a useful tool for advertising.
