Why Latin?

• Show how Latin is used throughout our culture.
Grading Breakdown
•Homework 25%•Quizzes 25%•Tests/Projects 25%•Participation 25%
Homework (25%)
• Plays a vital and pivotal role in each student’s success in class.
• Assigned daily for reinforcement and/or extension of newly learned material.
• Randomly collected each week and graded on effort and completion.
Quizzes (25%)
• A quiz can be expected each week. It may be announced or unannounced and is based on recent homework assignments.
• Vocabulary lists or flash cards are required.
Tests and Projects (25%)
• At least one unit test each quarter.
• At least one quarter project.• Projects will be based on Roman culture, pop culture, and Latin grammar.
Participation (25%)
• EFFORT!!!• Homework completion
