14th Orientation Program 3 August 2018

14th orientation program for 2018 batch has been organized. For the session 2018-19, 178 students have been

taken admission in BBA 1st semester. All the students came with their parents and gets various information

regarding institution. Students seem curious to know about the activities. Program started with Ganesh

Vandana performed by students followed by chairman sir speech. Director Sir and additional director sir

address the gathering.

Extempore 9 August 2018

Extempore event is organized by department for BBA 1st year students with the aim to overcome stage fear

and gain confidence. Extempore speech is to evaluate or check the knowledge of student about specific topic

and how he/she reacts at the time while speaking. With this activity students came to know about their

Presence of Mind, their confidence, their communication skill.

An extempore speech is the best way to measure student’s tone at the time of speaking; facial

expressions and movement of candidate hands describe his confidence and help to the faculty to know

more about students.

Awareness Program on safety and security measures by Delhi Police

10-August-18

The law is important for a society; laws serve as a norm of conduct for citizens. For students it is

mandatory to know about safety measures with rules and regulations because it acts as a guideline as to

what is accepted in society. Without it there would be conflicts between social groups and communities.

To create general awareness regarding rules and law among students department organized an awareness

program with the help of Delhi police for safe and sound environment. Students participated with their

parents and promised to be a good citizen.

Ad-Making activity 13August 2018

To showcase BBA student’s creativity towards market and management department organized Ad-Making

activity. The 9 team showcase their creativity by making ad of different products and services. Students

groups tried to generate laughter and created very funny advertisements.

Students enjoyed the activity and learn to how to create an advt. they also learn how to work in team spirit.

This activity gave students a chance to know each other very well.

Alumni Interaction 16 August 18

With the aim to create a healthy environment among seniors and juniors students and to make more aware

about all the opportunities that will be provided to them in college. Department conducted an interactive

session for first year students with our ex-students and senior students.

Kavi Yudh 2019 on Zee News, Noida 17August 2018

When student become a part performer of a Live TV program his literary knowledge, tolerance and

empathy with his fellow students create. To enhance students capabilities department took them to attended

a live TV show named Kavi Yudh 2019 dedicated to former prime minister late

Sh.Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on Zee News, Noida. It was telecast on Zee News at 7 pm on 17 & 18 august.

Students came to know about Vajpayee ji’s dynamic personality. He was successful politician as well as

miraculous poet, an influencing and a resonating orator and an insatiable reader.

Workplace Ethics 21August 2018

Ethics are important for adequate decision making process and becoming inspirational leaders in future

basically ethics are the moral principles that drive an individual's behavior. Students should pusses’

personal ethics in many areas of their lives such as for family, for friends, for study and they must be aware

about ethics in Workplace. Workplace ethics are the moral principles that guide a person's actions in

the workplace. To inculcate ethics in students department organized case study session for BBA final year

students on the topic “Workplace Ethics”.

In today era we want to teach our students to think about future targets and what exercise they have to

accomplish for specific goal, thinking at any level complexity requires basically three compound categories

of skills; problem solving, communications and self-awareness. To enhance these skills students must be

Workshop on awareness of Drug addiction 24August 2018

Department conducted a workshop on awareness of Drug addiction, which covered many areas like what are

drugs? What is drug addiction? Types of drugs. How to cope up with saying no to drugs, statistics of drug

starting age. Session sum up with question answer round. Students were participative during the session.

Guest Lecture on Effective CV Writing 6September 2018

A guest lecture organized for BBA and B.com final year students by Dr.Shalini on how to make CV. All the

students prepared their CV with a great enthusiasm.

A guest lecture was given by Dr. Sanjeev Mittal, Professor, IP University on 11th September 2018. He

Introduced students with the knowledge of personality development and provided students with the tips of

enhancing personality. He also taught students the importance of business ethics and importance of ethical

behavior in our lives.

Guest Lecture on Digital Marketing 13September 2018

A guest lecture was given by Mr. Vikas Sachdeva, Regional Head of Star Plus TV Channel on 14th

September 2018.The guest lecture was conducted for 1st year students of BBA and BCOM(H) students. Mr.

Vikas Sachdeva introduced students to various ways of advertising and the concept of Digital Marketing. All

the participants enjoyed a lot and learned managerial skills.

Department organized educational visit for BBA student at Aaj Tak, students took part for Takkar and

Dharam Adharm. Students enjoyed a lot. Some of the students has asked very meaningful question to

Mr.Sambit patra in takkar. Students also asked to Baba Ramdev regarding business strategies adopted by

Patanjali and also got opportunity to do some Yoga with Baba Ramdev.

With the purpose to develop BBA student’s managerial skills, team building skills and to enhance their

confidence level department organized Role play activity.

BBA 1st year students attended and interacted in a session of public speaking with Ms. Anusha Khurana,

Additional General director, Commission of India and Mr. Sumit Chaudhary ,Managing director of AIMA.

Career Orientation Program 17September 2018

Department organized a career orientation program for BBA, B.com and BJMC students by Global

opportunity. This orientation open door to an option for studying abroad for future studies.

Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy Plant, Patparganj, New Delhi

3-4 October 2018

An Industrial visit was organized for the students of BBA -1st semester to Mother Dairy Plant, Patparganj

Delhi on 3rd &4th october18.

Mother dairy setup in 1974 is known for its hygiene and good quality of milk and agro products. During the

visit students were given a brief introduction about the plant by their representative. They have been explained

the production of milk product as per following details:-

1. The procurement, standardization and distribution of milk to various Retail outlets.

2. The process which is generally under taken before the milk is packed.

Students were also given live demonstration of various tests that could be conducted to check the purity of

milk and were shown the processing plant of the mother dairy. Later all the visitors were given refreshment in

form of flavored milk and ice-cream. Over all it was an educating-cum-fun experience for the students.

A guest lecture was given by Mr. Arks Shrinivasan, the Alumni of IIM, Kolkata which included Aptitude test,

GD and PI session for the students of BBA, in the last they were awarded with the participation certificate.

Concentrix Visit LLDIMS for hiring 29 October 2018

Concentrix, the second largest global provider of customer engagement services arrived to select students

after rigorous grilling under the PI, writing, communication, Voice test followed by aptitude test. The 14

students further issued letter of intend to join the esteemed organization.

Visit of Accrual Intelligence for Management (AIM) for hiring

15January 2019

Accrual Intelligence for Management (AIM) is a Singapore based organization and deals in investment and

service sector. To provide placement and internship opportunity to BBA & B.com students they conducted

aptitude test and group discussions rounds. After vigorous screenings 3 students are shortlisted for placement

and 15 students selected for internship.

Guest Lecture on Management Training and Placement Opportunities

17January2019

A guest lecture was organized for management & commerce first year students by CA Amit Gupta. Students

were participative and interactive during the session.

To provide management training and placement opportunity to our future managers department organize a

campus drive by Nestkeys, real estate and service sector expert. Drive was very fruitful for students; next keys

selected 2 students for sales manager (2.5-3.5 LPA) and 6 students for the internship.

On The eve of upcoming elections India’s Finance Minister

Mr. Piyush Goyal under the P.M. Modi let bjp government announce the interim budget which would be in

force till the election on 1st February, 2019.in his 2 hours long speech he dealt with a variety of sectors

ranging from agriculture to tax and defense to infrastructure. Below you can take a look on some of the

highlights from his speech.

Income And Taxation

city and 80% growth in tax base in tax collection increasing to rs. 12 lakhs crore this year, union minister

promised it refund and returns in 24 hours. However no change in income tax rates was announced. But in

order to reduce the tax burden on tax-payers the government announce that individual tax payers with taxable

annual income up to rs. 5 lakhs will get a full tax rebate. Moreover, all interest income above rs. 40,000 from

bank deposits will now get taxed and not rs. 1000. The finance minister also raised standard deduction raised

from rs. 40,000 to 50,000. also the gratuity limit has also been increased from rs. 10 lakhs to 30 lakhs.

Highlights of Budget 2019

Within 2 years tax assessment will be done electronically. IT returns processing in just 24 hours. Minimum

14% revenue of GST to states by central government. Custom duty has abolished from 36 capital goods.

Recommendations to GST council for reducing GST rates for home buyers. Full tax rebate up to 5lakh annual

income after all deduction. Ceiling limit of TDS U/S 194A has increased from 10000 to 40000. Ceiling limit

of TDS U/S 194I has increased from 180000 to 240000. Capital tax benefit U/S 54 has increased from

investment in one residential house to two residential houses. Benefit U/S 80IB has increased to one more

year i.e 2020. Benefit has given to unsold inventory has increased to 1 year to 1 year.

in virtual international market. In addition of this students were also been informed about Career opportunities

in finance and Management sectors by Prof.Chirag Mehta. Students were given certificates of participation.

very interactive and students learnt the overseas internship benefits and process to apply.

Visit to Botanical Garden 28February 2019

BBA final year students went to botanic garden, Noida for their environmental project. They learn a lot about

the rare plants and the latest Conservation technology.

Job Fair 15March 2019

Department organized grand placement and internship fair 2019. Students participated enthusiastically and

received positive feedback from recruiters. Fair comes to an end with 450+ registration across GGSIPU

colleges, presence of 22 companies who hired more than 200students for various profiles.

BBA & B.com students participated in Banking Baithak Program at PHD chamber of commerce, sir fort New

Delhi. Students have an interactive session with the speakers over the topic “Wealth Creation.”

For final year students department organize a campus drive of Jio & Bridge Group Company, the students

faced aptitude test and personal interview during the selection process, after then 9 students were selected as

Jio sales officers and many students as intern in Bridge Group Company.

First year students attended an interactive session on “innovation Sutra” organized by AIMA. The session was

taken by Dr. RekhaShetty, founder, Mindspower Brand the Managing Director. Farstar distribution network &

author and by Mr. Sumit Chaudhuri, Life Member AIMA, Chairperson & Managing Director, Third

Millennium Business Resource Associate Private Limited.

The session was informative .It helped students to broaden their mind set and think wide.

TRAINING & PLACEMENT CELL

The college has an active Training and Placement Cell along with the Career Development Centre

(http://lldims.org.in/tp/) which looks into the summer internship and placement for its students from all

streams. The objective of the college Training and Placement Cell is to help students identify their career

goals and provide an edge into the present day competitive job market. The scope of work of Placement Cell

extends from organizing workshops to providing internships to students in various organizations during

summer breaks and preparing students for the final placements. In the past, the placement cell has conducted

similar events in which several leading companies participated and recruited bright talents. We will be

extremely obliged if you could be a part of our endeavor of making the untapped talent shines.

LLDIMS organize a Campus Placement Drive during December-April 2018 at our institute for the Final Year

students. These students will be appearing in final year examination in May 2019. Therefore they can be

available to take up their employment from June 2019. We will be providing you the supporting

infrastructural facilities for conducting Tests, Interview, Presentations, and Group Discussion. Company will
