We’re a full-service marketing, branding and graphic design company in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Our smart marketing approach is decidedly practical: we believe in getting to know our clients—and helping them get to know themselves—through in-depth research. Then we synthesize the research, devise the right strategy, craft messaging and add great design to help them meet their marketing goals in the most effective ways possible.
We know the answer is out there. It takes style, smarts, integrity—and keen senses— to track it down.

Linden’s energy and technology clients rely on us to quickly learn and fully understand what they do. As simple as it sounds, this research and education phase is vital to successful marketing of specialized services that may never reach the end-user or general public. It’s impossible to communicate with industry insiders without a solid understanding of the energy and technology itself.
Marketing techniques for our energy and technology clients have included education-intensive materials such as fact books, informational brochures, schematic illustrations, product sheets and tradeshow support. In an ever-changing competitive landscape—especially for clients involved with renewable energy and clean tech—outside marketing can help both fledgling and established projects thrive.

TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION
Exponential Engineering Company designs distribution andtransmission lines for utilities and Rural Electric Associationsthroughout the United States. Our experience encompassesmountainous terrain, plains, coastal areas, all NESC loadingconditions, large conductors, river and canyon crossings and areassubject to weather extremes.
TRANSMISSION
Siting, corridor studies, environmental data collection and publicinvolvement meetings. Comprehensive line design including GPSsurvey, plan and profile, structure spotting, sag and tensioncalculations, structure loading and analysis for wood pole, concreteand steel structures and foundations. Underground transmissiondesign for 69kV and 115kV applications.
• design data summary• plan and profile• terrain modeling• mapping backgrounds – USGS, aerial photography• loading condition determination• galloping, ice dropping and vibration analysis• lightning shielding analysis• sag charts • material breakdown • cost estimates • project management• construction observation • close-outs• public meetings• corridor studies and analysis of impacts
DISTRIBUTION
Complete design of overhead and underground systems, includingfield survey and staking sheet preparation and tabulation. EECprovides construction contracts, specifications and unit designdrawings.
• staking sheets
• computerized staking• river crossings• major elevation changes• RUS standard units• work order inspection• specifications• closeout documentation• underground cable, splice and termination specifications• trench, direct bury, conduit and duct bank/manholes• specifications for underground bores• construction observation

INGMAPPING
Exponential Engineering Company’s mapping experience includesfield data collection and digital mapping of electrical facilities incities, towns and rural areas. We are able to provide field datacollection using GPS technology and field inspectors. We usemultiple tools to enhance AutoCAD for conversion into an existingGIS, such as ArcInfo, or create a new system, depending on theclient’s needs. GIS provide the ability to display and query electricalequipment such as transformer sizes, pole heights and classes, linesizes and lengths and substation locations. The client specifies thelevel of mapping detail.
Whether digitizing from existing maps, providing complete fieldsurveys, integrating billing databases or creating new maps fromscratch, EEC customizes the approach to meet the client’s needs andbudget.
• map publication and printing
• integration of USGS maps and aerial or satellite photography
• edge-matching of section maps
• inclusion of subdivisions based on plats
• equipment connectivity, including transformers, capacitors, regulators and reclosers/sectionalizing devices
• integration of mapping and billing data to provide customerattachment links
• line phasing and conductor size collection
• RUS units and pole heights, classes and condition
• joint use attachment lists and organization for billing to cable andcommunications companies
• transmission line access road mapping
• mapping integration with power system analysis software
REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS
Transmission System GISWestern Area Power Administration, Loveland, Colorado, 2000-present:
Complete GIS design and implementation for the Western RockyMountain Region transmission system, including collection of field data on transmission access roads. GIS include transmissionlines, structures and poles, access roads, environmentally sensitiveareas and restrictions and archeological and historical areas and restrictions.
Plains Area MapsUnited Power, Inc., Brighton, Colorado, 1994-2003:
Conversion of paper maps to GIS for Plains region, approximately25,000 customers and 687 square miles. Integration of subdivisionplats in the Mountain region and mapping of roads to supplementdata from USGS and Tiger maps.
