Perry Meridian Youth Basketball Registration

Who: Any boy grades one through grade six that attend a school that will ultimately feed into Perry Meridian.What: PMYB is taking the place of both the Indy Hoops program and what used to be PTYB. Both programs are under the direction of the High School basketball coach, Brent Keck. Players will complete an evaluation process and will be se-lected to participate in our travel program or our recreation based league. Those players selected for the travel pro-gram (Indy Hoops) will have the option to participate in our recreation league as well for no additional cost. When: Registration and evaluation days are on September 17 and September 24.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade will take place at noon.

4th and 5th Grade will take place at 1:30 p.m. 6th Grade will take place at 3:00 p.m.

Lego Club: All Ages: Saturday, September 9

2:00-4:00pm

Families and children ages 2 and older are invited to drop in anytime between 2:00-4:00 to learn to play and play to learn using Lego bricks and more. Lego bricks, Duplo bricks, gears and bristle blocks will be provided

Paws to Read

Wednesday, September 20

6:00-7:30pm Registration Required -Phone: 317-275-4510 Children who are reluctant readers are invited to read to Abbey, a registered therapy dog. This activity can help readers improve their reading skills and self-confidence. Abbey can’t wait to listen to children read at the library! Participants may sign-up for a 15-minute reading session with Abbey. For Beginning or Reluctant readers! Registration Required

BAXTER YMCA SWIM LESSONS

Lady Falcon Youth Basketball League Who can play? 1st through 6th grade girls. There will be 3 leagues: 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th

Girls will be grouped into teams based on grade level and by school Practice Time: Practices will begin the week of October 23rd. There will be 4 weeks of skill based practice and instruction with the High School coaches working alongside volunteers who would like to coach a team. Games: Games will be played on Saturdays starting in December. The season will end with a tournament in February/March. Sign Ups: There will be 3 sign up dates:
