Röchling Haren is a leading manufacturer of composite materials. We offer a wide range of insulation materials for different cryogenic pipe supports.

Lignostone® is a unique material manufactured from selected beech veneers, impregnated under vacuumwith thermosetting synthetic resin and densifiedunder heat and pressure.

Durostone® is a glass reinforced plastic, manufac-tured from Polyester or Epoxy resins in combinationwith glass materials, glass fabrics and glass rovingfibres.

The extraordinary properties of Lignostone® and Durostone® make them ideal for load bearingcryogenic supports:

• low thermal conductivity• high mechanical strength• resistance to abrasion and wear• resistance to physical and chemical decay• temperature range between –190 to +160 °C

(depends on grade used)• low specific weight

Lignostone® and Durostone®

are widely used as:
