Kingsman: The Secret Service

In the Kingsman many naturaltones are used whereas thewhere CGI and editing hasbeen done, the shots usehighlights of brighter or lesssaturated colour to bring intradition and modern techniquestogether.

The use of natural tones such assoft greens and beiges portraythe posh areas of London yet connote them as boring asthe main character is the oppositeof this environment.

I will probably use brighter colours as opposed to this method of Lighting.

Before I DisappearThe lighting in Before I Disappear is usually dark asmost of the scenes take place at night or in clubs. Many shots use colouredLED lights or filters to makethe shots more vibrant andmystical.

There are also lots of darkshadows used yet in mostshots the lighting is aroundthe whole area as supposed to being pin-pointed to one angle.

I like the use of the projector and may replicate this at school for my own trailer.

American UltraThe lighting in American Ultrastarts out with natural tones yet as the film progresses into the more intense scenes, the colour becomes darker and more saturated in colour. In many shots a light is behind the actors as well as infront to connote the chase fromthe FBI that the character’s face.

I particularly like the use of theUV light as it’s unique so I can replicate this since we have a UV torch and glow in the dark paint.
