A FEW WORDS FROM THE ARTISTIC D IRECTOR

As we say goodbye to 2012, I wish you a wonderful holiday season and thank you for coming to see OLIVER! Everyone at Light Opera Works has worked very hard to bring this challenging show to the stage. We’ve undertaken a complex set design by Adam Veness, and put together our largest cast since I began at Light Opera Works. And what a cast! It’s been so exciting watching such seasoned professionals as Jim Harms as Fagin and Colette Todd as Nancy working alongside all

the youngsters, many experiencing their first professional musical show! I’d like to express a special thanks to all my actors and staff, especially Chris Carter for his assistance on staging, Susan Gosdick for her knowledge of dialects and, as always, Roger Bingaman and Linda Madonia for their musical direction, both of our actors and our wonderful orchestra. And now please: consider yourself at home—consider yourself part of the family. Enjoy OLIVER!
