Lifestyle Guide
Dear Esplanade Residents,
As we are leaving 2020 behind and entering the new year, let's take some time to
remember some of the highlights of the past year. From potluck, Karaoke, Trivia,
parties, movie nights, night out at the theater, Oneblood donations, Toy drives, Food
Bank, shoebox filling, and much more.
It was a different year for sure, but we can look forward to the new year and much fun
we will have together. Please join us for our first pool-side movie night of the year
along with the other fun activities that we have planned for you this month.
This month, we are going to continue to help those less fortunate within our
community. Many residents approached me to asking to extend our food drive into
the new year as so many families are still struggling. I am so proud to be part of this
generous community; the amount of donations that we received were overwhelming.
Toys for tots, shoeboxes, and food donations were overflowing.
Thank you to all of you for your kindness, and let’s start the new year with a festive
spirit. We will make this year the best to come!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone and welcoming all new residents at our
Amenity Center.
Sincerely,
Jeremie Guglielmi & Team

Ian M. Kahane, MD MBA on Rushmere
Why did you choose Esplanade at Artisan Lakes?
My parents actually found a near identical Taylor Morrison community in Sarasota and I was looking more north, so I landed here. It's only 15 minutes from my work and is centrally
located to so many other wonderful activities in our area.
Will you be a full time resident? If not where else do you spend your time?
I am only 31 years old, so I am a bit too young to be a snow bird. I am going to be here all year round. I'm a busy Primary Care Physician though, so I am up and out before the sun rises.
What Lifestyle programs are you most excited about participating in?
Anything Bocce ball or trivia
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that may surprise people!
I am an aquarium expert. I love fish and animals in general.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received or given?
"Work hard and all your dreams will come true"
What is one thing that you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Travel to Jerusalem / an African Safari
Tell us about your four legged friends! How many are there, what are they, and what are their names?
We have one dog named King. We love him. He is adopted and a stud muffin. Strong looking with a super soft coat. We call him a miniature Rottweiler, but he is really just a mutt and half
the size of a real adult male rottweiler. We love him dearly.
Get to know the Kahane’s!
At Esplanade at Artisan Lakes, we encourage the development of interest groups and clubs. It’s a
great way to meet fellow residents with similar interests by creating or joining an Interest Group
or Club - such as a card club, a walking group, a bocce ball club, and much more!
If you’re interested in joining or leading any of our current groups or clubs, starting a new group,
or would like more information, please contact your Lifestyle Manager. The Lifestyle Manager
helps to facilitate promotion of activities developed by the residents.
All groups and clubs must be open to any resident of the community who is interested in joining.

Goodbye Christopher Robin
A rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children's author A. A.
Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired
the magical world of Winnie the Pooh. Along with his mother Daphne (Margot
Robbie), and his nanny Olive, Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in
the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and
comfort to England after the First World War. But with the eyes of the world
on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family?
