By looking together at history, art, calligraphy, manuscripts, and music, this course will provide a better appreciation of these communities. Significant concentration will be given to the Syriac, Armenian, Coptic, and Ethiopian churches.

About the Presenter: Dr. Jonathan Loopstra is an Assistant Professor of History at Capital UniversityinBexleywhereheteachesthe History of the Middle East. He specializes in the languages and literatures of the minority Christian communities in the region.
