RESPONSIBILITY DECLARATION

I am responsible when anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help,

I want the hand of A.A. always to be there; And for that I am responsible.

“The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking.”

Made a decision to turn our will and

our lives over to the care of

God as we understood Him. 2018

One night, a newcomer took his daughter

to dinner at a downtown restaurant. As

they walked in the door, the first thing

they saw was an enormous sign advertis-

ing what used to be his favorite beer. The

man’s eyes immediately widened and he

began remembering just how good the old

brew tasted. Then his daughter interrupt-

ed. “Oh, look Daddy,” she said, pointing to

the sign. “THEY HAVE YOUR-LIFE’S IN

THE TOILET ON TAP.”

Treasurer’s Report March 2018

The SMIA continues to be on solid financial footing going into March 2018. Our net income for the last 30 days

was $817, which brought out FY ‘17 net income to $1793. Our total expenses for this fiscal year have

been $18,432. We can expect large expenditures from the Where and When and the Bookstall over the next

couple of months, which will likely bring us closer to a balanced budget, yet there are no genuine predictors of

donations or other expenses for March. In any event, the SMIA has been good stewards of the funds we

have received from our kind and generous groups.
