Last Call for Shoes!
You Can Help the Teens Reach Their Goal!
The pick-up date for the 2,500 pairs of shoes that the teens are collecting is Dec. 1. Funds2Orgs will load up the shoes and distrib-ute them to their network of micro-enterprise partners in Haiti, Hon-
duras, other countries in Central America, and Africa. Proceeds from these small businesses provide families with essential needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter. By donating shoes to our teen group, you are giving others a chance to become self-sufficient.
In addition to knowing that they have had a significant part in making life better for others who are less fortunate than they, the teens will receive $1,000 that will go toward their next mission trip.
If you have wanted to be involved in a mission that will help others, the answer may be as close as your closet. Please drop off your shoes in the church office, foyer, or teen cen-ter so that the teens can put the pairs together, fill each bag with 25 pairs, and be ready to send them off to help others. Thanks so much for everyone’s help.
