• The main idea of the app is to reach out to community for creating citizen awareness.

• Each user can gain a sense of reward in safeguarding their neighborhoods, and improve the efficiency of the civil society for a quick response in any emergency.

• Using the precise Galileo’s location based service and device sensors, this app focuses on the high level of accuracy for locating the emergency points.

• Click of Emergency/Alert Bell If pressed a message is sent to the administration (Emergency Call Service) with location + contact information. The administration can trigger automatic Popup messages (With Beep) on the app of other users who are in the nearest or respectively configured location buffer from the alert generated point.

• Click for Referencing the event/incident Helper users (“First Citizen”) try to locate and report as soon as possible after the Popup message (With Beep). This Quick Action of the “First Citizen” earns him maximum rewards points.

• Select Incident This option allows the user to state the situation and type of emergency. To make the response as quick as possible the user is given a list of generalized emergencies to choose from. When reporting, the “First citizen“ can also add geo-tagged and orientation-tagged pictures from the location to facilitate detailed structuring of the event.

Visualisation of Location

• Users can also Look on the map to visualise the area, and further can make decision respectively.

• From the administrative reception (ECS) the data is visualized on a “Life Watch Screen” where it combines the metadata (identity) of “First Citizens” to facilitate quicker decision making for relief response.

• Private data of users is encrypted and stored in the Emergency Call Service server. It forms the database for the app.

• The data/information processed during referencing by a user is also stored in an encrypted form; e.g. photos are encoded within the app to maintain the authenticity of the data without any manipulation, similarly for coordinates, they are verified and recorded within database.

• These ideas of making data more accurate and authentic is to encourage introvert citizens to participate in virtual witnessing of the incident/event and raise the concern about it. Then in further cases this data can be also used as evidences for legal processes (following certain rules, terms & condition).

Data Privacy and Authenticity

• To encourage more users to participate in this application and contribute to their society a positive competitive gamification is added to the app. We encourage every step a user takes in the process of quick response.

• Stars are points of credits (rewards) which would be given to the use who could give the fastest and most accurate response among the other users within the range. Users with minimum accuracy get less reward points.

• Recognitions can be offered to the user who received the most number of reward points.

• Here, the user would be recognised by the community as an “Active Citizen Champion”, who is personifying the idealism of other citizens for awareness and integrity.

• This enhances the credibility of the user and the user can receive special consideration from the administration as well.
