When boys were babies they almost dressed in the same clothes as girls did! But the boys only wore it up to four years old.

The boys usually wore their hair out so it was hard to tell if they were a girl or a boy

Girls usually wore silk dresses like their mothers.

The men wore long jeans held up by their belt, a long sleeved shirt, a short jacket and a hat.

Transport.Transport.Most people walk to the gold fields. But if you are a little more fortunate you could travel by carriages,horses and paddle boats to get to the gold fields. Here is a image of a carriage.

Food and WaterFood and WaterPeople on the gold fields drank water, grog,coffee and tea. And ate soup, damper biscuits. The things they needed to cook some meals and drinks are flour sugar and potatoes.

Many people played many games on the gold fields and here are some of them: marbles, jacks, spinning the top, history of england , ball game and if you were cleaver enough you could make your own board game and coitus.

EducationEducation

Most children received a eduction the schools were tents and they had to pay school fees from a daily bases. There were private schools , denominational schools and national schools. Most children stated school at the age of 7.
