1. What did you take away from this lesson? What will you apply to your daily walk of faith?

2. Based off of the sermon, what are the effects of sin upon a person’s life?

3. What was the cause of Isaiah’s intense realization of his own sin? What part does humility play in his reaction? As a believer today, what should cause us to have the same realization concerning our life?

4. During our personal times of worship and communion with the

Father, do we settle for surface level worship or do we echo the Psalmist, “Search me, oh God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!“ (139:23)? Explore and discuss.

5. What is it about the freeing nature of confessing your sins to God?

6. Explore and discuss why Isaiah and the people are categorized as having unclean lips? Is there any significance to this particular body part being isolated?

7. Explore and discuss. Once Isaiah is cleansed what is the activity that occurs next? What principle are we to take away from this example?
