Turn your phone off or on mute; do not answer itinside the library.

Please speak in a low voice and avoid any unnecessary noise

If you absolutely have to listen to something (study-related), use earphones and turn the volume low.

Do not take any food or drink except water in a clear, resealable container into the library.

Tips for buying course books

Buying/ordering in a shop (for example MBS, Kuppitsch)

Buying online – new or used - a credit/debit card is usually required+ most websites in English+ chance of bargains

Some used books may be sold – check the student notice board!


Buying online:

Amazon.de, Amazon.com Amazon.de has advantages when ordering from Austria

bookdepository.com (used books, free shipping)

AbeBooks (varying shipping time and costs) Directly from the respective publisher


Reading packs

Can be picked up in the library (free) Please inform yourself which classes you

are taking / which reading packs you need

Please come within the opening hours and refer to reception if neccessary

Additional MSc reading packs can be picked up in the academic office!
