Library Customer Service officer Key Selection Criteria Response Proven Customer Service Skills In all of my previous employment I have been required to possess exception customer service skills and to deal with the public in a community based environment. When working for Telstra in Sunbury I had a loyal customer base throughout the community who asked for me specifically to deal with them to provide advice and advise products to suit their individual needs. My extensive volunteer work also required me to interact with a variety of individuals in different communities and cultures and taught me to think quickly on my feet and allowed me to further develop my communication skills. I have also worked in hospitality and retail positions which have required me to interact and form relationships with a community customer base. I have a proven track record of exceeding set KPI’s and establishing long term customers. Demonstrated conflict negotiation and resolution skills As part of my completed Bachelor of International Relations degree I was required to study conflict resolution and negotiating in a variety of settings. I also had to opportunity to use these skills in many real life situations such as during my position as a UN youth facilitator. These skills especially came into use in my work in customer based employment such as Telstra, café work and retail as all these positions required exceptional negotiating skills and the ability to come to quick and efficient decisions that made everyone happy.

Proven Customer Service SkillsIn all of my previous employment I have been required to possess exception customer service skills and to deal with the public in a community based environment.
