The Liberty University Athletic Training Staff, in conjunction with the team physicians make up the Liberty

University Sports Medicine Network. This group works toward the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of

athletic injuries.

The Athletic Training staff includes eight full-time Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC). These staff members

work from five functional athletic training rooms. This allows the Liberty University Sport Medicine Network

to provide optimal medical care for the athlete’s medical needs. The capstone of the Sports Medicine facilities is

the 3,200 square foot Football Training Room located in the Football Operations Center. This facility includes

two plunge pools, a Hydro Works underwater treadmill and a doctor’s exam room. The other training rooms are

located at the Vines Center (basketball, volleyball), the field house at Williams Stadium (track, cross country,

soccer, tennis, golf, cheerleading, women’s soccer, and softball), and the Crowder-Muckel Field house.

Game Press Services

The Office of Athletic Media Relations will be available throughout the event. All members of your media will

be provided with programs, game notes, media guides, and other pertinent information. Abbreviated statistics

are available at the conclusion of each quarter/half and full game statistics are available post-game. Wireless

internet, telephones, and a fax machine are available throughout the game.

Football

Liberty University home football games are played at Williams Stadium located on the main campus of Liberty

University. The press area is located on the 5th

floor of the towers on the west side of the stadium. Media

parking is available in the Blue Lot directly across from the stadium in lot PM-04.

Radio crews broadcast from the 5th

floor of the press box. Facilities for filming and videotaping are available.

Media representatives working at field level must check in at the press area to secure a sideline pass. Pass must

be displayed at all times and NCAA sideline rules must be observed at all times.

Visiting Team Radio

Liberty University will provide normal phone lines in the press box or press row for use by visiting

broadcasters. Originating stations that require ISDN lines must contact the Office of Athletic Media Relations in

advance to order the line. All expenses for ISDN lines will be incurred by the originating station. Please clear


up any questions on equipment prior to game day. All calls must be made collect or direct dial from the station

to the booth. The game day emergency line in case of technical difficulties is (434) 582-4628.

Media Information

Basketball

Liberty University home games are played at the Vines Center on the main campus of Liberty University. Press

row is located across the floor from the home and visiting benches. Media parking is available in the Blue Lot

in front of the DeMoss Learning Center.

Soccer/Track

All home soccer at track events are located at the Osborne Stadium and the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex on

the main campus of Liberty University. Parking for the Osborne Stadium is located in PM-16 below the

stadium.
