Gay Relationships
Gay Marriage
Should be legal for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals, to ensure equal rights for everyone.
All individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation, have the right to marry.
Prohibiting same-sex citizens from marrying denies them their civil rights.

Radical change to society
“Don't ask, don't tell”
Don't Ask, Don't Tell prevents gays to be open while in the military.
Gays should be able to express themselves, even in the military.
“NO H8” Campaign
The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek in protest.
Discrimination and Bullying
Gay, lesbian, and bisexual youth are two to three times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual counterparts.
LGBT students are more apt to skip school due to the fear, threats, and property vandalism directed at them.
Twenty-eight percent of gay students will drop out of school. This is more than three times the national average for heterosexual students.
Gay Suicide
In 2007, there were about 42 million Americans aged 15-24. The self-inflicted death rate for this group was about one in 10,300. That comes to roughly 4,000 suicides a year by those of teens-to-college age.
Around 150 gay and lesbian teens will kill themselves a year.
My group feels that gays, lesbians, homosexuals, and transgender people
should not have rights taken away from them just because of their sexual
orientation. They should be treated just like everyone else.
Who are we to judge people on who they love?
