Saturday, July 4 •600 block of Sara Court, damage to property – Officer initiated call. Patrol notified the homeowner that their mailbox was taken apart and in the street. Home- owner suspected juveniles causing problems in the area. Patrol as- sisted resident on repair. Later, pa- trol advised that the mailbox was damaged again. Officers searched area with negative results. •5500 block of Walmore Road, fire – Caller to 911 reported a possible trailer on fire near a gas/ convenience business. Patrol con- firmed the trailer was fully involved. •700 block of Onondaga Street, suspicious activity Caller to 911 reported a male parked a bike and entered a new build across the street. Area checked with negative results. •4800 block of E. Eddy Drive, suspicious activity – Caller to 911 reported a suspicious pack- age with no writing was left in the mailbox by a male in a newer black vehicle. Caller observed the male place the unknown package in the mailbox and was not ex- pecting any delivery. Package not marked and appeared suspicious. Patrol reported two explosive K9s were alerted to the mailbox; State Police bomb tech examined said package, no explosives found. All units cleared. •700 block of Michelle Court, damage to property – Caller reported her mailbox was dam- aged and suspects another mail- box nearby was also damaged. Patrol requested. 5300 block of Military Road, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, assault – Male caller reported being assaulted by another pa- tient. Subjects placed in respective rooms and separated. •Locations at Saunders Settle- ment/Townline Roads and on the 1800 block of Saun- ders Settlement Road, ve- hicle/traffic stops – Officer ini- tiated calls. Included were: driver cited for speed in zone; and female driver cited for obstructed plates; aggravated unlicensed operation; uninspected motor vehicle; unreg- istered motor vehicle; and operat- ing/permitting operation without financial security. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for Lew- iston Town Court. Sunday, July 5 •5800 block of Garlow Road and location unknown, traf- fic complaints – First call, red Toyota reported all over the road, caller nearly hit; second call, U.S. Border Patrol reported an intoxicat- ed driver was stopped. One in cus- tody for driving while intoxicated. Report taken. •700 block of The Circle Drive, assist public – Caller to 911 reported her brother was outside throwing trash around the yard and screaming and yelling. Patrols responded; report taken. •Townline/Ridge roads, assist public – Caller to 911 reported a male was attempting to stop ve- hicles for a ride to church; subject heading westbound. •Lewiston/Military roads, MVA, property damage Caller reported a Ford pickup truck had struck numerous signs and mailboxes in the area. Monday, July 6 •1100 block of Upper Moun- tain Road, animal complaint – Caller reported a barking dog, ongoing for hours. Patrols respond- ed. •1200 block of Cain Road, sus- picious activity – Caller to 911 reported a male and female ob- served sitting by a mailbox. Caller states the male had an order or pro- tection against the caller at the time and requested the couple be re- moved. Patrol listed the individuals as GOA; no crime had occurred and nothing further to report. •800 block of Ridge Road, disturbance non-domestic Caller to 911 reported a subject had threatened harm at a party. Subject had taken keys and a ver- bal argument ensued; intoxication listed and unknown information on weapons. Dispatch received a 911 open line call, followed by a hang- up. •Military/Saunders Settlement roads, traffic complaint/in- vestigation – Caller to 911 re- ported two motorcycles heading eastbound on Route 31, all over the roadway. Bikes listed as sports-style motorcycles had also struck several vehicles. •700 block of The Circle Drive, assist public – Officer initiated call. Male advised patrol that his brother had been in a residence owned by his mother who is now in a nursing home. Subject report- edly caused great inconvenience and disruption by moving around home furnishings and property. Complainant felt the subject should not be in the residence causing dis- ruptions. Report taken. •Locations on the 1600 block of Ridge Road; the 100 block of Upper Mountain Road; the 700 block of Ridge Road; and the 900 block of Up- per Mountain Road, vehicle/ traffic stops – All calls officer initiated. Included were: driver, uninspected motor vehicle; driver, operating/permitting operation without insurance; driver, failure to obey a traffic control device; and driver, aggravated unlicensed op- eration. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Tuesday, July 7 •2600 block of Upper Moun- tain Road, animal complaint – Caller to 911 reported a dog was barking non-stop for more than an hour. Patrol spoke with the home- owner; dog had water and shade in the yard; call handled. •2400 block of Upper Moun- tain Road, ordinance viola- tion – Caller to 911 reported the driver of a small white vehicle had dumped a lot of trash out the win- dow. Vehicle just left heading east- bound; plate number logged. •400 block of Lockport Street, Youngstown, MVA-injuries Caller to 911 reported a vehicle ran over a pedestrian. Injured party listed as a female, 72, with a leg injury; no bleeding and subject conscious. Female was the opera- tor of the vehicle; victim informed patrol that she forgot to put the ve- hicle in park, exited and the vehicle ran over her legs. Victim reported with leg and shoulder injuries and taken to the hospital for further inju- ry evaluation. Vehicle parked and no damage reported. Report taken. •2900 block of Upper Moun- tain Road, suspicious activity – Caller to 911 reported neighbor- ing family members were walking by the residence, harassing her. Past neighbor issues reported. Wednesday, July 8 •1700 block of Ridge Road, MVA-injuries – Caller to 911 re- ported that one vehicle had struck a power pole; airbag deployment and driver out of car. Patrol found no wires down, but the pole was severed. •4400 block of Porter Center Road, shots fired – Officer ini- tiated call. Patrol to meet DEC of- ficers on a call of subjects shooting to close to houses. •2200 block of Saunders Set- tlement Road, MVA-injuries – Caller to 911 reported a black Ford Explorer had rolled over. Male driver bleeding from his arm had exited the vehicle. Report taken. •1700 block of Swann Road, forgery – Caller reported a fraudulent unemployment report. Statement taken from the complain- ant. No actual loss reported; caller had spoken with a credit bureau regarding a Social Security num- ber possibly being compromised, identity theft information requested. •5900 block of Kline Road, forgery – Caller to 911 reported an identity theft. Patrol’s report only. •4900 block of Townline Road, ordinance violation – Caller re- ported neighboring residents were blowing off aerial fireworks and worried about a fire hazard. No interview. Thursday, July 9 •Ridge/Ransomville roads, an- imal complaint – Caller to 911 reported a cow in the roadway. Owner relocated the cow back in- side the fence prior to patrol’s ar- rival. •1600 block of Upper Moun- tain Road, motor vehicle theft – Caller reported two burnt out vehicles on reservation lands. Patrol reported one vehicle secured on scene at Green/Mount Hope roads. •N. Fourth/Ridge streets, ve- hicle/traffic stop – Officer initi- ated call. Driver cited for passing a red light and issued a warning for a crosswalk violation. Uniform traf- fic ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. •Legacy Drive/Northridge Road, traffic complaint/in- vestigation – Patrol on location for stop sign enforcement at the in- tersection. •700 block of Center Street, shoplifting – Caller reported a shoplifting complaint at a business; suspect took medications and fled in a white SUV with NY registra- tion; plate number logged.
