Fly tying and More: Mastering the Art and the Waterby Mike PowellGiveamanafishandhe’lleatforaday,teachamantofishandhe’lleatforalifetime.Thiscourseisdesignedtocoverallthebasicaspectsofflytyingandwillofferfishinginstructionandinsightaswell;it’stheessentialone-stop-shoppackagedealfortheaspiringfly-fisherman!Youwillbeintroducedtostandardflytyingtechniquesandwillassemblefiveflys:astreamer,anymph,andthreedryflys.You’lllearnabouttheverydifferentstreamstructuresinourthreelocalrivers,effectivefishingstyle,andthesecretsbehindwhy10%ofthewaterholds90%ofthefish.Thisclasswillincludeanoutingwithdetailstobeannouncedbytheinstructor.Comelearnhowtomakefly-fishingarewardinghobby,whilesavingmoneyonflysandreapingtherewardsofyourownwork!Materials / tool list provided upon registration; pre-constructed class kits also available from the Red Shed Fly Shop in Peck.
