It is possible to take the Level 3 CSIA Exam at the end of this course,
if the individual on the course is prepared and at the level required.
Ask one of our Basecamp team members who will be able to point
you in the right direction with this.
What will I get paid?
Around $13 an hour - 6 hours a day (can expect a minimum of
around $1700)
Whats a days training?
10:30 - 4:00
How much work will I be doing?
Two days work minimum, but often more days work are available
Can I get a second job at the same time?
Its is not advised, it means you wont have the flexibility required for
the ski school. If you need as much work as possible it is better that
you seek additional employment from Lake Louise, there are plenty
of other opportunities within the resort.

Banff is home to three of the worlds finest resorts: The Lake Louise Ski
Resort, Sunshine Village and Mt. Norquay. These resorts provide over
8,000 acres of skiable terrain suiting every ability. The inland location

Resort (voted Canadas Best Ski Resort in the 2013 World Ski Awards),
which has some great long cruising runs and some of the Rockies widest
and most exciting bowls.
During the course, youll be based in Banff town, a short ride from theLake Louise ski resort. The town is always buzzing. Banff has a selection
of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs and even has a cinema. The Lux
Cinema Banff shows all the latest and best hollywood blockbusters in high

Basecamp training is based at Lake Louise. The area has spectacular
scenery with uniquely amazing terrain, a perfect environment for
instructor or performance coaching. The area boasts 4200 acres of
skiable terrain and is one of the largest ski areas in North America. There are runs to cater for all levels and the unique layout caters well
for large groups who are looking for an incredible time. There are
endless chutes, gullies, parks and pistes for the more advanced rider
and Basecamp take full advantage of this awesome playground.
Based between four mountains, the main resort areas, Front Side
& South Face, Ptarmigan, Paradise Bowls, Back Bowls and Larch,
provide skiing and boarding terrain to suit any style and level. The
long season from mid-November to late May means that there is alsoplenty of time to really explore the resorts and uncover all their hidden
gems. Couple this with an optional Tri-Area pass that joins Lake Louise
to Sunshine Village and Norquay and youll be in for an unbelievable
season. Combined, these three resorts offer almost 8,000 acres of
skiable terrain with an average of 33ft of dry, light snow in Sunshine
Village, thats more than any other resort in Canada.

I really enjoyed the 11 week snowboardcourse in Banff. The coaching was fantastic-
my riding improved so much more than Iexpected. Lake Louise is also a great resort -
I was finding new lines throughout the season.
Finally, Banff was such a fun place to stay.
The nightlife, restaurants and activities all
made the season a truly memorable one.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting
to do a season.
