August 12, 2016 To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter to convey my experience working with David Epperson during his internship with Energizer Holdings, Inc. I have worked with other interns in the past and for the most part they approached the position as just ‘something they had to do’ to help them get job offers after graduation. This was certainly not the case with David. David approached every task as if it were exactly what he wanted to be doing. I’m sure that was rarely the case, but you could never tell by the way he went about his work. Many jobs that we have to do are tedious, maybe even boring, but he was always engaged and focused on getting it done and done correctly. David was eager to learn anything he could and never shied away from something challenging or difficult. He rolled his sleeves up and got his hands dirty on more than one occasion. David’s attention to detail was also a wonderful surprise for me. He took instruction very well and almost never had to be reminded of the processes. This was especially impressive considering his time at Energizer was split among several different IT disciplines (systems, network and desktop). In conclusion, I have no hesitation at all in giving my heartfelt support to David for any endeavor he pursues. I gladly write this letter of recommendation for David Epperson and his numerous accomplishments as an IT Infrastructure Intern for Energizer Holdings during the summer of 2016.

As the Voice/Network Engineer for Energizer, I had the distinct pleasure of working with and overseeing David on a variety of IT Infrastructure initiatives for the 3 months he interned at our organization. David’s work left a lasting impact on our organization and places him as our top outstanding interns we have had in the past 10 years.

David’s passion for understanding IT principals is evident in his work. He traveled with me on a Voice-related Cisco Call Manager install project to one of our main sites that provides sales support to one of Energizer ’s biggest clients. David’s attention to detail ensured that we got the project done on time and he received accolades from our on-site director for his work.

I therefore strongly recommend David as an IT professional. As the lead senior engineer of our VoIP team, I have no doubt in my mind that David’s diverse background has prepared him for his continuing IT studies. His passion for the IT field was invaluable to our organization. I am confident he will be an asset to any organization that he joins when he finishes his college studies.
