Welcome to WaterknotWe just added 14 new designs to start the year off right. In addition to expanding our Guitars and Heavy Haulers collections with new birthday cards, we are introducing some great new mustache cards and a series of new place-centric cards for tourists and locals alike.

2013 also marks the inception of the Bureau of Homestead Security. This new collection of cards for garden and DIY food lovers offers a warm-hearted tongue-in-cheek take on vintage public service poster campaigns.

But, since life is not always a bowl of cherries, we have added 2 new sympathy cards (page 21).

As always, our line includes cards for guitar enthusiasts, out-door adventurers, gardeners, nature-lovers and love-birds with a soft spot for days gone by. We also have some great cards for kids.

Treading lightly on the earth and taking care of each other is paramount for us at Waterknot. That is why we only print on 100% post consumer recycled paper. Our envelopes are 100% recycled (80% post consumer) and our clear sleeves are made of a plant-based compostable plastic. We also donate at least 1% of the sales of our cards to organizations working for sustainability, peace and social justice. In other words, you and your customers can feel great about buying our cards.

About our Letterpress printed cArdsOur cards feature original art, design and writing by Josh Nusbaum and Jenn Pagliaro. Each card is created to be a treasured keepsake. To that end, we mix most of our inks by hand and use only extra-heavy cover stock (at least 120lb.) Each card is printed, one at a time, on our 106 year old Chandler and Price letterpress. It’s a labor of love and you can see and feel the difference.

All cards are blank inside and measure 4.5” x 6.25” (A6). Every card comes with a beefy kraft paper envelope and a retail-ready compostable clear sleeve. All cards wholesale for $2.50 each. We think $5.00 is a fair retail price but, it’s your shop, sell ‘em for what you like.
