The people of India Men and women have their own set of dress
code which include kurta & pajama, kurta & dhoti for men
and sarees, Indian churidars, salwar kameez for women.

Do they have money in India? In India their money is called
rupees. If you have 100 rupees it is about $1.61 dollars here in
the U.S.

What languages do they speak in India? The population of India
speaks many different languages, including Hindi, English, Bengali,

What is the weather like in India? The weather is mainly hot
most of the year with significant variations from region to region.
The coolest weather lasts from around the end of November to the
beginning of March, with fresh mornings and evenings, and mostly
sunny days. The really hot weather, when it is dry, dusty and
unpleasant, is between March and June. Monsoon rains occur in most
regions in summer anywhere between June and early October.

What does India look like? India has two bodies of water around
it. One is called the Bay of Bengal and the other is the Arabian
Sea. India also has a desert in it called the Thar desert. It is
very hot there! India is home to the Himalayan mountain range. The
mountains are really tall and people try to climb them.

What do they eat in India? Indian food is as diverse as many
ethnic and cultural groups in India. A typical Indian meal consists
of starch, lentils or beans, and vegetable. Non-vegetarians have

What do the cities look like in India? New Dehli is the capital
of India and lots of people live there. There is lots of traffic
and people ride bikes too.
