SEQUENCE AND ANIMATION

In this assignment you must make 3 animated GIFS using paintings from Art History as source material. I have listed famous artists who’s work is suitable for use on our weblog, please google these names and find 1 image (medium sized jpeg) that you will use for all three GIFS. Follow the demonstration I give in class and use makeagif.com for your gifs. Each GIF should have 8-12 “frames”. You may play with playback speed to see what looks best.

1. This GIF must be created by adding one or more extra elements and moving them sequentially across the picture plane.

2. This GIF must be created by sequentially altering the color using hue/saturation, replace color, invert, and color balance for each respective frame of the GIF.

3. This GIF must be created by sequentially using one or more filters from the filter gallery- warp, liquefy, and mosaic all are good choices. But feel free to experiment.

You may add text to any GIF.

When finished with all three, cut and paste the URL’s into the comment box at the bottom of the weblog assignment and I will post them.
