LET’S DO DIY GARDEN You will need: Plant pot Soil Selection of bits and bobs to add to your garden! Instructions: 1. Fill your fowerpot to around two thirds full, pressing down frmly to compress the soil. 2. The fun part… Add your bits and bobs! There’re no real instructions for this part, whether you are making a fairy garden (Don’t forget your toadstools and fairy door!) or Dinosaur Jungle (keep your t-rex away from the water hole) have as much fun and creativity as possible. Our suggestions: Plant real life herbs or fowers in the DIY gardens, encouraging children to water and nurture these to see them grow. Make it a game! Use our Scavenger Hunt list to fnd a variety of bits and bobs on your hourly walks to add to the gardens; from stones, twigs, moss, leaves or even the odd ladybird or two! Get crafty…why not make a small tepee out of old ice lolly sticks and see what creepy crawlies make it their home!
