Los Angeles, CA (May 30, 2012) Calling all architects! Come to the 2012 AIA
Los Angeles (AIA|LA) Design Conference and find out how you can convince a
client that design excellence more than pays for itself and optimizes a quicker
return on investment.
The Design Conference will serve as a forum to showcase how Design
Performance increases ones return on investment, maximizes profits, enhances
productivity and at the same time, vastly improves the quality of life for allinvolved.
The AIA|LA Design Conference is the official educational conference of AIA|LA.
The conference is a two-day event featuring symposia on current topics relevant
to the architecture and design community, along with the Restaurant Design
Awards Ceremony. The AIA|LA Design Conference allows attendees the
opportunity to earn continuing education units as well as network without having
to travel outside of Los Angeles.
Taking place June 22nd & 23rd, the AIA|LA Design Conference will allow you to be
a part of one of the major architecture and design events in the city!

RESTAURANT DESIGN AWARDS CEREMONY (Fri June 23rd): Now entering
its 8th year, the AIA|LAs Restaurant Design Awards program celebrates
excellence in the design of restaurants, cafes, bars, lounges ad nightclubs. A
panelist of distinguished jurors comprised of KCRW radio personality, chef &
restaurateur Evan Kleiman, architect extraordinaire Mark Rios, FAIA andBravo's wunderkind Top Chef winner & restaurateur Michael Voltaggio -
selected sixteen projects as finalists for this year's competition. The Jury and
Peoples Choice Awards Winners will be announced at the RDA Ceremony on
Friday June 23rd at 5:30 PM in conjunction with the AIA|LA Design Conference
on the Dwell on Design expo floor at the LA Convention Center.
